The Birth of St. George

I was lucky recently to spend nearly a week with a brother of mine to explore and enjoy Boston, catch up and even play some hockey together. Including two recent visits with his significant other, this makes five quality visits between us since the Spring of 2024.

His struggle with a massive government infrastructure company has been ongoing for more than twenty years. It has to do with a long-term contract agreement that has been very drawn out and antagonistic, to say the least. He asked me at one point, “What do you think is the bigger picture with this personal professional struggle that I’ve been wrestling with for so long?”

My first response was along the lines of, “You need to lean on God”. “I don’t mean give up, just surrender the details to Him”. “We are not meant to pray for material things, but we can always pray for His strength to guide us towards His Will Be Done”. “Maybe try Church or Prayer”, I said. My further perspective is below.

I believe it is a personal wake up call. “COVID” was a wake up call for many, but like most people each morning, many hit the “snooze” button and are still trying to sleep it off.

COVID woke people up who were paying attention.  It confronted people who only believe in materialism, with the fact that at that level you can be deceived and even mocked all day long.  

Many people either pursued their vices and became depressed or like my case, realized that they needed to return to God and their Faith.

Reptilians never take a day off.   That’s funny but it’s also a funny ad for a ‘conspiracy’ podcast.  Reptilians only believe in the material, so they have organized themselves to be very good at manipulation.  Put another way, if someone only believes in manipulation and the material, they are reptilian in spirit.

Because of their weakness and self-affirming belief system, reptilians have no ability for creativity unless you count manipulation as creative. They can only destroy, copy or interfere.  That’s it.

The only way to rise above materialism in my experience, is to rise above it.  Creation all comes from God like having and raising children, comedy, art, new ventures, architecture, and ingenuity. New ideas and fresh approaches will come from Him.

The movie and film series “The Matrix”, tried to bring this out.  Truly accepting the wake up call, the ‘red pill’ in the movie, tends to be inconvenient and uncomfortable at first.  Just like actually waking up, you tend to be grumpy and irritable when you start to see things more clearly.

When you are able to start leaning on your higher power and listening to your intuition or your soul, you make better decisions and live a much richer life, spiritually at first.

You realize that we’re actually on a soul journey, not a material one.  Although of course, money and comforts are nice and important but they don’t fill your cup, as the Christians say (Psalm 23:5).

“Logos Rising” by E Michael Jones, really saved my mindset in 2020, when I needed it.  His first chapter of that book brought me right back to God.

We don’t realize until we must it seems, that Catholicism brings everything we need.  Catholic is the big tent that not only offers belonging and shared values but actually has a knowledge-base and rich history, when you lean into it.  Not every priest or church is strong but the big tent of Catholicism is strong and rich.

The reptilians have secret societies and secret handshakes and all levels of nonsense, but they know that deep down they are weak and pathetic next to truth & light.
